Divine Calling On June 7, 2007, Mr. Ocaka Bosco received a divine calling to serve vulnerable people worldwide. During a spiritual encounter, he was instructed to teach and encourage support for the poor and marginalized.Personal Journey Mr. Ocaka Bosco's life prepared him for this mission. Orphaned at age 8, he survived independently and worked as a cobbler making sandals. Despite limited formal education, his faith and dedication enabled him to read, write, and lead.Building the Mission Following his calling, Mr. Ocaka Bosco:
Founded a community group teaching self-reliance through faith
Registered as a CBO (Community-Based Organization) in Kitgum District under KINGFO
Established an NGO in Gulu Local Government
Registered a company limited by guarantee in Kampala under URSB
Became a National NGO under Uganda Registration Bureau
Our Name: "Lubanga Lapit Kic" In our local language, this means "God Feeds Orphans," reflecting our core mission to care for orphans, widows, widowers, and all vulnerable people.
Interfaith Approach We serve vulnerable people across all faiths—Catholic, Protestant, Islam, Seventh Day Adventist, Pentecostal, and others—promoting self-reliance and unity through compassion.
